Calif Gov Posts Names Of `Dirty 13' Pwr Suppliers
Dow Jones Newswires

LOS ANGELES -- California Gov. Gray Davis said Wednesday in a news conference that 13 power suppliers have refused to sell power into California because of solvency issues regarding the state's three investor-owned utilities.

Referred to by state lawmakers in Sacramento Wednesday as the "Dirty 13," Davis' deputy press secretary, Roger Salazar, emailed the names of the companies to journalists and state officials.

The companies named are: Dynegy Power Marketing (DYN); TransAlta, an investor-owned utility in Alberta, Canada which operates the Centralia power plant in Washington state, Eugene, Ore., Water and Electric, Southern Energy Trading (SO), PowerEx, a unit of BC Hydro in British Columbia, Public Service Colorado, Enron Power Marketing (ENE), Portland General Electric (PGE), Avista Corp., Puget Sound Energy (PSD), PPL Montana, Seattle City Light and Idaho Power Company.

Ido79,
Post enjoyed!
Chart Targets:
Back in the low 100's I said the OSX would as likely go to 120 as 80. This was met with some skepticism at the time.

Here's some more targets.

OSX topped here or will at 115-118, next bottom targets 93 or 83.

XOI target 475 or 468

NG 5.50-4.62 possible.

Late winter or spring rally to follow

Rest of market looks pretty tough also, short term.

Weather forecasts still on target, BTW.

No warranty on any views, just my humble TA opinion.

I'm back to PM's and cash (plus a little TESOF, of course)

Best Regards,

Roebear
