VG,

I agree regarding Gore's grace.

Give Bush a chance. When he gets away from the script you can see the real man. It is not as bad as many think. You will find out in about 30 minutes. I bet Bush lets a little more of him shine tonight.

Some men don't shine in the limelight. That does not mean that their ideas or character are poor.

I once gave a speech on how to give a speech. That and 25 cents (ok a buck seventy-five in todays dollars) could have gotten me a cup of coffee.

As for Gore in 04, I don't know yet. The Democrats have not been kind to many before Gore. Of course Gore gave a very close race, and he should have won. The fact that so many in his party think he should have won might work against him. I don't think there will be any question as to if Gore want to try in 04, the real question is if he can get the party support to realize his dream.

Thx and HAGO

TH

Bush never met a teleprompter he didn't like. It's all he can do. He reminds me of a young acolyte reading scriptures he doesn't really understand. All this flowery language he's using now comes from a speechwriter, and not from inside of Bush himself. I noted, for example, when he took to the podium he shook the male hands and didn't even acknowledge the women who were standing there also.

Bush has every mark of being an A-1 hypocrit! And illegitimate at that. Gore may have conceded. But many Americans haven't. Neither have I.
