Okay, I broke my own rule about posting something political?

My comment about Bush needing a new running mate might have been a little premature.

But yes, I think the American public might see Cheney as older and weaker than bush, especially in eight years. This is not a comment on his knowledge or his potential ability to run this country, just how I perceive him at this time(but hell, he'll probably out live me!)

If, in 2004, he is in good health than he'd likely make a decent candidate but if his health is slipping than the public will not accept it too well. I don't think the GOP will want to risk losing the office.

The way I saw it last night(during my moment of divine revelation<G>) is that in 2004, Bush would announce Cheney as his running mate again, but Dick would turn down the position....due to health concerns, putting the interests of the country first.

********This is just an opinion, a thought that occurred to me on a couple occasions. Please don't flame me to death. I don't like to talk politics....this is one reason why.
