Some people estimate as many as 4 may be named during his term. This will be his big chance to prove that he is a moderate as he says he is. I think he will give way to the right wing republicans and try to slip in a more conservative candidate if he thinks he can slip one in, a hispanic if he can find one that matches his philosophy close enough. A hispanic Clarence Thomas would be his dream candidate. The democrats are likely to give any candidate he nominates a very tough time of it. Anything short of a true moderate will be met with very stiff resistance.
