So we now have active suppression of supply in any geography that can possibly be effectively re-directed to California.

As far as bankruptcies go, I have little concern for shareholders who invest in a regulated/subsidized industry and get burned.

Exactly. What utility company in their right mind would lay out the CapEx necessary to build a power plant in that sort of hostile regulatory environment? The denial in California regarding the "Power Bubble" dwarfs that seen even in the I-Nutz in February!<NG>
