In my house we have a small antique set of shelves, on it are two older tea sets. The shelves were moved to make way for Christmas decorations. The shelves are now the first thing you see straight ahead when you walk into the dining room. My 8 year old son had ask if he could arrange the tea sets on the shelves once they were ready to be put back. I agreed to let him. It must have been a weak moment, as I know that his idea of arranged will not be in line with my obsessive desire for order. Well, he just arranged the dishes on the shelves, (as I was typing). He came and got me and said, "Mom, come look, I think it is beautiful!!" I went and looked. I can say without hesitation, he did not let me down. My artistic abilities and his are very different. I am sure he is much more like his dad in that area. Reminds me of the year his dad was setting up "his" Snow Village collection of houses and accessories. The collection had been gifts to Mike over the year. I must tell you, that every time I dusted around those houses, I had to resist the incredible urge to "fix" the way they were arranged. Brian's setup of the tea sets just indicates to me, that he is a chip off the old block!!!
