You felt embarrassed for Gore, eh?

Drop the puck.

This offer is now being extended to our intellectual friends from Canada...

But who am I to talk. In Canada we elected a senile, spending, lying, arrogant, and corrupt man to our highest office.

And to top it off, he's French too!

The way I understand it, Jay, is that Canadians have the same type of social contract that Europeans have. By and large, the majority prefer socialistic governments with huge safety nets. They are willing to pay high taxes in exchange for government granted goodies. There really is nothing you can do to change that mind set.

Early in my career, a number of psychology professors I knew were moving to Windsor. They bragged about the culture and ifne restaurants there (we are talking late 1970s). They bought homes in a neihborhood built by Hiram Walker for whiskey executives. All my friends moved back in the 1980s, bitching about the confiscatory taxes and the lousy taste of those pickled eggs you find in hockey bars. What are those called?

Can't you move to the USA?
