Yeah, I got three of 'em. If it was not for the fact that they could rip my arms out of their sockets I'd knock their blocks off.

The Italian friend who owned the meat truck told me, "You Irish, you live in great homes and fill with them sh*t furniture and then you send your kids to the best schools, and they come out and buy great homes and......"

I am still trying to figure out if that was a compliment that we spend our money on our kids,

..or if he was trying to tell me I could buy better furniture at GoodWill.

And they say the Irish know how to turn a phrase, I'm still confused. But of course, I had to look at my mother's furniture during the move and suggested that I buy her new.

She said, "Save it for the boys' college". I was in the Twilight Zone, no question.

Yep, beautiful day down here today. Up there as well? I spent in a medical lab getting TB tests done for my mother. What fun that was. Throw getting tax stuff sent off before the Dec. 15th deadline and my day was just peaches and cream.

I think a blizzard may have been preferable.
