tom, intercepting the planes on the way to attack pearl harbor would have been sufficient, imho. i'm as cynical as the next guy, but i do hope that our leaders aren't so callous as to let foreigners bomb us soil for an "excuse" to enter a conflict when there were other alternatives such as the one mentioned above.

Tom, Like they ever need a motive to do that. <g> But he could have sank one ship the way Wilson did. He didn't have to let the fleet get sunk.
