Awesome it is....! You become the 6th person on SI that I know is living in the Northern New England area. We'll have to gather someday and push each other down the slopes. <smile> Only SI person I've met is from Florida. <smile> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As to My New Market Trend thoughts: The Fed will NOT Lower Rates in Dec and not in January either. I've not been a Bear for many-many years. I now have to take a serious look at what kind of selling should be done and tax problems that I'll be incurring. I AM NOT a political individual....! I'm an Independent Centrist with a moderate to slightly conservative view of fiscal and social issues. So my political intuition is not terribly biased. But a number of unrelated and independent factors, have shown up over the last year and they bare careful watching as we move forward. These Indicators include the recent battle for the whitehouse and the candidate who won by making it through the hoops. This country is now looking at long period of under performing stock markets and only average economic growth for a good number of years. Not the Depression E-wavers are looking for, but just under performing markets. God I dislike being a bear....! Very Few Make any Money and so Many Get Hurt...! Hope I'm Wrong.<smile> We should know in 3-6 months. The court sealed the outcome and on Dec 13th 2000 the psyche has changed for the worlds investor. I've been a major Bull since October 98 when Greenspan spoke, but it goes back even into 1992-4, this position is uncharacteristic of me...! Yesterday The Party is OVER. By Mid January and at the end of the first quarter we will All Know IT...! The international community does not want republican party "Hawks" in charge of this country, they like Moderates. The democrats were seen as a continuation of the last 8 years. The partisan court has sealed the future decline. The International players will start by selling the dollar which will not get above 115-116.00 for a long time. Then the bonds will begin in the first quarter of 2001 to come under pressure, selling and buying pressures. The International community already has serious problems with a republican presidency. Coupled with this our government will be dead-locked. This will be followed by the wholesale selling of our markets by the Big Players in our universe. The psyche has changed. Mark this post:
