No, that's not when it happened. Many of the tech companies (Intel included) reported that things very suddenly slowed down in September.

I know you want to blame Gore for everything, it's just not possible. Blame Clinton instead...

Every year my wife and I walk through a very exclusive part of our subdivision to look at the Christmas decorations. Usually 75% of the houses are decked out, professionally decorated. This year, about 25%, and most of those done by the homeowner. The Grinch that stole the wealth effect.
