It is funny. Also has large elements of truth. But it completely leaves out anything unfavorable to Gore, and thus isn't balanced.

You said you like to litigate. So you know that what happens in a court has little to do with justice to either party and much to do with rules. I like litigation, and especially appellate work, because I understand the rules and find it fun to use them to advantage. The man on the street will never understand because he doesn't understand that the rules are the rules. Gore was out-lawyered, and he had an uphill battle to begin with, since every FINAL arbiter along the way was Republican.

In sports, you don't let the teams supply the umpires. In politics, you do.
