The Demos will not want to stand in front of the American public and risk looking like they were the reason we fell into a recession.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that too much. Bush comes from a fine tradition of recessionists. Citizens will know where to point the finger. Seems like we can only stand prosperity 8 years at a time. Produces so many republicans we feel compelled to elect one and bam - another recession. <vbg>
