That's been one of my criticisms too.

The other is that if you set up a more free system, it doesn't stop you from donating any amount of time, energy or money to whatever causes you deem important. The dems simply have no value for "choice" except in the areas that suit them...same as the pubs in social areas.

I don't agree with him on a lot of things and I realize he's just another politician, but I think he's a real bright guy with a lot of good ideas. I think the Dems and the press systematically destroyed him because briefly he was being very effective at communicating ideas that threatened them. He's nowhere near as bad as people think (IMHO).
