Joe, An optimistic way to look at AMD is if AMD extended their above average execution by another year and 1/2 to 2, and if Intel extended their below average execution in the same time frame, we could see something similar to what happened between NVDA and 3dfx. That does not seem realistic, especially in a time of slowing demand. The P4's long pipeline combined with Intel's 130nm process are going to make things very rough for AMD in 2001/2002. AMD needs a Hammer processor on a new process ASAP. Bob
