Isn't 1.618 the Golden Mean or something?

If not, I wonder what is important about that number.

Funny, I just looked at QCharts and I use that number also. But I forget why. I thought it had something to do with squares and square roots but for the life of me I cannot recall.

Altzheimer's, I guess.

I'll mention it to John. My guess is it's asking for trouble though. After reading his response I'll be in Amazon buying 15 more books, reading 16 hyperlink references, have read his virtual treatise on the origin of the number and be completely baffled as to why I ever wanted to know.

JP knows too damn much. Guys like that should be shot.
