I suggest that you get into a habit of keeping a record of your trades.

I know that you are only paper trading but it is important to get the other side of your brain involved, involve it by writing down a record of what happened. To be honest I do not, but I did when I started. Even now I keep a running record of trades on a spreadsheet but try it manually at first. It may help you "see" what you are doing.
