Dubya's drinking doesn't bother me, either. Nor would it bother me if he snorted coke a few times, back then we didn't realize how dangerous it was and everybody did it.

Now would it bother me if we learned he slept around a lot when he was single, or even after he got married. And it wouldn't bother me if in fact he did go AWOL, or if he got preferential treatment in getting into the National Guard.

Short of child abuse or serial killing, there isn't much in the background of a candidate that would bother me.

Dubya's one DUI doesn't bother me either. It could happen to anybody.

It's the pulling of strings to keep the public from knowing the truth that bothers me. The drivers license switcheroo. The jury duty boogie. The misuse of political power for private ends.

The insider trading and that Arlington stadium deal - those are real stinkers. Might need a special prosecutor to find out what *really* came down with those.
