funds flowing out...

A good case can be made that this money will eventually find it's way back into the market and into tech funds. I am betting on that happening in the next several months. When the rally starts, it will be as violent and sudden as the fall.

The Percent of Rydex Ratio "Bull" Assets in OTC, Biotech and "OtherTech" currently stands at 74.5%

- May 23, 2000 Nasdaq interim double bottom = 75% ( Nasdaq 3050)

- Mid April Low 2000 = 69% (Nasdaq 3225)

- October 22, 1999 = 70% ( Nasdaq level apx. 2700... beginning of blowoff top to 5000)

- Oct/Nov. 20 1998 = 40% (Nasdaq level apx 2000)

The Rydex Tech Fund weighting at the top of the Nasdaq was 90%. Other Current Rydex indicators still seem to portray a tech investor who is relatively complacent his holdings are safe and will appreciate from here, as other more defensive Rydex money market and bear funds have yet to show the levels indicative of a more "bearish" or fearful sentiment.
