Liberal radio has been saying Powell isn't black because his parents came from the Indies. The slavery there was by the British so his heritage isn't black. Freakin' nutz.

We have yet to see who takes the Defense portfolio, but we are developing one of the best prepared teams in the foreign policy arena to have graced Washington. These are principled, prudent people who have a notion of the limits of American power, and a resolve not to squander it. I think Albright will be a dim memory in a year or two......
