that they are most certainly wired the same as the rest of us, that being that they will tend to act in their own self interest. Given that "they" are either civil servants who do the analysis or advisory boards that include a range of experts under the direction of the civil servants, does your distrust still apply? The primary self interest of the civil servant is a sound and balanced report. The primary self interest of the advisory board is consensus. I don't see how either would violate your self interest or mine. Karen
