I was thinking about that -- but it doesn't follow that people who are "for abortion" are against the death penalty because pro-choice does not mean "for abortion". I am adamantly pro-choice, but unhappy that people sometimes have to choose to have abortions. And I am adamantly against the death penalty. Pro-choice does not mean "pro-abortion".

And I am not against the death penalty because I am a bleeding heart liberal -- it is because I want less government power, and that includes protecting the citizens from the government! The reason for the 2nd amendment was to protect the citizens from the government! So why are so many of the people who support the 2nd amendment also for the government killing its own citizens? <g>
