The term "Pro-Life" was coined in an attempt to gain the moral high ground by implying their opponents are "pro-death." The primary issue is individual freedom and who's in charge of a woman's body, she or the state. If the state is granted power over women's right to choose to abort a pregnancy, it's also getting the power over a woman's right to choose to carry to term. State-forced abortions are the other side of the coin of state-forced births. I say the state should have NO say in it either way, period. Don't let them get a foot in the door. I saw a great bumpersticker - U.S. out of my Uterus! Not only a political statement, but I bet it kept her husband from borrowing her car. :) ... Mezz -
