So what your saying is Greenspan knew back when he made the unnecessary 3/4pt that Bush was going to win and therefore was going to cut taxes by 1.3b?

I think the guy is just not as great as everyone makes him out to be. I remember in the Japan crisis he was stalling after waves of economic guys were stating on CNBC he needs to cut and he needs to cut soon and he needs to do more than 1/2 cut. That was a deep deep financial crisis and Greenspan nor the FED was willing to see it. Then there was the So. American crisis before Japan. It was Clinton administration who bailed us out of that after getting the FED to secure it. The only thing I seen Greenspan ahead of was raising too fast too much. If it weren't for the babyboomer's retirement money he wouldn't be looking so hot.
