Benjamin. If so the so called patent coallition may be really challenged to stand up to the combined TXN/QCOM IPR advantage.

Though I saw no references to TXN and Zero Intermediate Frequency while finding the Philips info...

Did you perhaps mean "reserved" instead of "received"?

If so, the Q's announcement of the deal with TI says: "The companies' current patents, as well as future patents filed prior to or on December 31, 2005, are cross-licensed on a worldwide basis."

Serious boost for TI if this is the case.
