SO- Greenspan had brought up the possibility of a neutral even in the October meeting...so, in my mind, going to an easing bias doesn't seem so out-the-question, and indeed, the most likely possibility...

If the Naz doesn't rally from here into the meeting, does it selloff if the Fed doesn't cut rates? I dunno, It doesn't seem that that possibility is priced into market, so perhaps we don't selloff....After all, this is the 5 day in a row the Naz is down, and a pretty big 5 down day pt. total to boot....

What are your thoughts of a Christmas/New Year's rally based on the history of up markets (historically) during
this period, AND the fact that its been a long, long time since the Naz finished 2 consecutive 4th quarter months down..

Or does all history go out the window in a bear market?

Now that the news is out, there is nothing else (fundamentally) preventing this market from doing what it has "technically" set itself up to do. I would expect a fast acceleration to the downside in tech stocks across the board. I will be watching the pace of the drop in prices. That combined with emotional capitulation by individual investors may push the FED towards a preemptive move, perhaps early in January.

Good trading.
