NUFO..http://www.marketgems.com/NUFOresistance_and_support.gif NUFO closed right at its 20 day moving average on Friday. It gapped up a bit opened 34 1/4 and moved up the 35 1/2 essentially taking out that first level of minor resistance. So would you say that was a buy? No, because any move this morning was from a stack of buy orders before the open or either way we don't get a clear picture of a trend until at least 15 minutes of trading goes by ESPECIALLY IN A GAP UP MORNING...

When the NQ's opened this morning at a gap up, the move down was already beginning as early as 9:40 taking with it the nasdaq. NUFO of course never made it to the second resistance are of 36.34, it started to drop triggering a short sell.

So what is the value than of triggers like these. Well they are pivot points and only really minor resistance (hence pivot points) from where the stock is likely to make its move.. the third reversal point of 43 1/4 is much more important major resistance. Also you will note that usually if a stock takes out the pivot point and moves upward it might rally again in a later part of the day. So tomorrow we can follow NUFO once again and see if there is any progress it taking out more resistance so NUFO might last for anther rally like it had off its lows on December 1.

Now NUFO closed once again at above its 20 day moving average with a nice move up into the close, at 33 5/8 At this rate NUFO can retest the 34.38 area again and probably even the next minor resistance, the 36.34 area. Of course it could also bump into the resistance and be knocked back on its head, we wait and see.

Attention: To those not wanting to renew
If you have renewed yearly, keep close attention to the date of your renewal and do NOT expect to be notified of the charge date upcoming on your credit card. Pristine will charge you automatically and does not feel compelled to let you know when your renewal is upon you nor do they feel compelled to send you an e-mail to let you know the date they have charged your card.

I was "lucky" because I was issued a refund minus the month that it took for me to find out I was charged. It is not the standard practice at Pristine to issue refunds, so again I should be grateful, but I do not think this is a good or honorable standard MO for a service that is accustomed to issuing daily e-mails. This is apparently in the terms. So, do yourself a favor and send yourself a yearly reminder reminder that you will be automatically and without notice charged.

While I do not think it is a good business practice, nor is it consistent with other automatic charges I have for other services, people should remain aware that this is the standard MO for this service.

This is neither an appeal to people to not join and not a criticism of the quality of the service, just an observation about how it is run.

Best of luck to all...now back to your regularly scheduled posters.

Jenna -- DJI: I've really been wondering what's been keeping the Dow afloat. How many Dow stocks have warned now? There were four in one day not long ago, for goodness sakes! With warnings from BAC, CMB, and JPM (a Dow stock) and a pretty big miss from MWD, the financials must at least be somewhat vulnerable at these levels. MRK is carrying a P/E/G that's almost twice as high as SUNW: who's going to keep on running those pharmas up, given the valuation and the fact that we are going to see work on a prescription-drug policy, despite the fact that Bush won the presidency? The price of oil is moderating again, and some oil companies have already begun to cut back on capital spending, so how much more is an XOM going to fly?
