Uh Meathead, I never compared Dell to it's peers when making my statement. I compare what Dell actually DID to what 'Mikey's missives' said they would do over the past few years. Looking at it that way, they have repeatedly missed expectations, with a stock price cut by two thirds the result. I don't know if they will warn or not, I would suspect if they do it will not be a miss on the order of AAPL or Gateway. It's pretty obvious that they are making a 'pricing play' to try and take share wherever they can. It will be interesting to see what that does/does not do to margins/profits. Best regards, John
