Hi Darleen Shurgot; Another factor in the problem is the remarkable human tendency to believe that leaders have the ability to solve unsolvable problems. Also the belief that anything bad had to be caused by the guys at the top. I'm thinking politicians, who will take credit or assign blame over things that were set in motion decades before they took office, but the same applies to corporate management. At a company with 1000 people, the CEO can't be directly responsible for more than a tiny fraction of the actual production, oil or (sugar) water.
