Abraham Lincoln retained a certain rusticity, and would tell yarns to disarm people, plus, of course, he had no formal education. George Washington was not as brilliant as either Hamilton or Jefferson, and was strongly reserved, and would mainly listen passively to arguments in his cabinet. Charlemagne did not learn to read until he was 40. Churchill was a poor student except in subjects he liked, like history and literature. Grant was towards the bottom of his West Point class, and a drunk, and Lee a well- discipline first in his class, but who won?

Martin Luther King plagiarized huge portions of his doctoral thesis. Woodrow Wilson had a stroke in his second term, but refused to step down,and his wife and top advisor practically ran the government......
