Let's see if I have this right....

We have a former Defense Secretary as Vice-President elect.

We have the former Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as Secretary of State.

So now we have Republican Congressmen pointing out various military threats?....What a leap!

Let me guess....next will be a call for a big increase in military spending because.....Oh, the strongest military on earth is too weak....or maybe, we have to prepare for a land war against China(they have more people than we have bullets and proved that to us in Korea)....or, maybe because we have a militaristic Secretary of State, we just need a bigger club because he doesn't understand how to be a diplomat?

And then, what do the rest of the countries in the world do when they see the biggest, baddest dude on the block beefing up his arsenal?.....they start beefing up theirs and start to form alliances because they know they couldn't stand alone against this juggernaut.

Then the reports come out about their build-ups, and their alliances and we are herded into believing that further buildup of our military is a dire emergency and must be approved and funded immediately....etc., etc., etc.,

Republicans militant, Nah....say it ain't so!
