Because most people are shortsighted and as long as their wallets are full, too complacent. And remember this, people approve of Clinton's job performance, as a person, he isn't highly regarded nor could he reasonably be. JLA

Last I looked Bush got more votes than Clinton has ever gotten in a presidential election and Clinton got no votes in this election. ergo, public must like Bush better.
