President Clinton's Popularity Possible Reasons Why President Clinton Is So Popular: A right-wing conspiracy is trying to kill him softly with adoration. You have to admire anybody who's not afraid of Hillary Clinton or Kenneth Starr. Just to see if the Republicans have enough guts to dump a popular president. The only people we ever get to compare him with on The Evening News are Yasser Arafat and Saddam Hussein. He's living out every man's dream -- to cheat on his wife and get away with it. People just can't stand a bunch of old guys trying to use a young woman to ruin a middle-aged guy who tried to use a young woman. Deep inside, people feel that if Bill Clinton really did anything wrong Janet Reno would skin him alive. Americans simply aren't sure they're ready for Al Gore. The Republicans "Contract With America" made everybody realize Bill Clinton is the only hope we've got. There's just something wonderful about Big Mac breath.
