ATLM executing 'well,' Pru

Atmel (ATML: news, msgs) is climbing $1.13, or 8.5 percent, to $14.38. Analyst Hans Mosesmann at Prudential Securities said in a mid-day research note that he doesn't think the company is sees the softening demand that other chip suppliers are witnessing. He believes the company is executing "quite well."

Obviously it came down at end of day a tad as naz self destructed, but still held up nicely. I guess if your gonna own stocks in this environment they best be valued properly with little chance of warning or missing earnings. Even though the market is in the toilet, it's at least comforting knowing that atnl will more then likely have good numbers with continued positive future outlook.
