RE: Repos. Can anyone tell me what the range of numbers in these reports indicate? What magnitude of number means the Fed is adding liquidity?

Ya I've been watching repos; and the fed is adding liquid
and I thought today would turn up, until I saw the
damage being done to MSFT and CSCO.
There seems to be more wrong with the market than
I'v seen. Apparently foreign investors are under
enough pressure that it's causing them to pull out.
They don't need a safe heaven if they are going broke,
and a fed rate cut won't help them any.
With the damage done now I think any rally we
get is just going to be sold into.
Until there is no so called safe stocks left to run
to the market will keep trending down.
The last rate cuts didn't stop the fall on a dime
it was only "after" about the 3rd cut and the dollar
dropped 10% that the market bottomed in 98..
Actually the Value Line never recovered from that
sell off and while I thought it was basing at 400
and said if it broke that we were in deep shit
I didn't want to believe myself..
-------------------
I think a lot of pension funds are likely in deep
trouble ( that kind of news never gets released to the
public until it's to late )
-------------------
MSFT should have strong support at 40 ..
below that and this market is dead meat,
& we will start hearing about pension funds
that can't make their pay outs.
Any Tax cut BUSH does will be met with increased
State and local Taxes.
Some day people will realize that 6 rate hikes in a
row at the same time high oil was taxing every thing
was over kill.
------------------
I wanted Clinton to act a long time ago to the price
of oil, and I don't mean just releasing reserves,
you don't do that without a plan and dropping speed
limits back to the 55 like we did once before.
I would also have had a "gas" ration plan as a backup
just like we were in a war, but he was so elated with
what looked so good he didn't want to step on any
toes.
Going forward without any type of emergency energy plan in the wings was and is really stupid.
But all the States as well as the Federal Gov is so
hung up on generating Taxes on the gas sold that
I doubt any one could get any where with what I had
in mind so I never mentioned it.
