Cutting taxes in a slowing economy and increasing defense spending will cause the deficit to skyrocket.

So yur position is that cutting taxes in a slowing economy will hit the deficit to hard, and in a growing economy it will cause it to over heat?

As for the increase in defence spending it will be relatively minor. Far less then the size of the decrease over recent years.

I think they should eliminate most all of the tax breaks first. Then start over. 15-20% rate would be about right.
In some cases this would be a tax hike...
