Hi Steve; The grey-head investors always write that the best buying opportunities are when "everyone" absolutely hates stocks.........seems like there is a good amount of loathing out there now, doesn't it?? Maybe the real hating will occur at a lower level, I see guesses but no one knows for sure.

The AIM concept pointed out by Tom, goes against conventional instincts......

I look at it a little like this:

1. America is not going out of business.

2. The technology and biotechnology explosion are still in the early innings. The basic industries are still sound...people will eat, drive, buy digital cameras, etc.

3. After the scared and weak hands have been shaken out, there will come another period when buyers instead of sellers will dominate.

Hang in there....ggggggg.....even the ship captains of old did not remain becalmed forever..winds will freshen, sails will fill and we will have to ship product again instead of buying it.

Regards, Bud

<<Ouch! New lows for year 2000 in S&P.>>

Hey, Grabber. Looks like a triple bottom on the charts. Could this be the springboard we have all been waiting for? My cash position is still holding up in general, but I've slowed my buying in most AIM accounts to once every two weeks and even once per month in a couple. Good Luck!!

My latest charts and graphs can be seen at:
elnet.com

Only pulled the trigger on one buy last week. (puck puck puck)

Sincerely,
RFH

Happy Holidays Steve, I parceled out a few more greenbacks late yesterday. I decided to start a QQQ account. That pretty well used up any surplus cash that was sitting around collecting dust.

There's still enough cash on hand to do a bit of nibbling if need arises. Maybe it would be good to just go into hibernation for a while!

Best regards, Tom
