What investment follies? Do you know what I invested in? What did YOU invest in? Is it up this year? Do you know of any stocks which weren't affected by Greenspan's actions or inactions?

And since you seem to know so much, please explain to us "ignoramusses" how a RECESSION benefits our economy.

BTW, have you gotten any pink slips yet?

Casuabon,
I always enjoy reading your posts and always appreciate
reading opposite viewpoints. None of us can learn anything
if we all agree.
Actually, I am not thinking of the stock market at all in
believing AG did not take advantage of taking action against
what is a gloomy looking economy. The ECONOMY was foremost in my mind. Leading indicators are forecasting exactly what the
FED said...there is greater danger now of recession than
inflation. I thought they went too far with the rate increases; we will all pay the price for their great fear of
the quite tame inflation monster.
Consumer confidence (or lack of it) will affect the economy.
Retail sales for the holiday season are alarming.
Pink slip announcements have begun.
If recession officially begins, the rate cuts are/will be
too late.
Personally, I am well up for the year. I was long my favorite
trader Friday, got stopped out at break-even yesterday.
Loaded back up today.(It's just a game to me)
It never cracks me up when people are losing their a$$es,
even if their own investment follies are to blame. I feel
sorry for them just the same.
Good Trading!
Regards,
Eichler
