John the idea is to get all new messages from our subject/peoplemarks not just the subject/peoplemarks themselves. We can do that already by simply opening up a second browser window, one pointing to subjects and one to people. This is the functionality that BrowseMaster offered that saved a lot of time (particularly, for me, the ability to get all new msgs from an individual without having to click back and forth for each msg). Frankly, the cumbersome method SI has chosen to implement retrieving/viewing msgs has more or less driven me away from contributing to SI.

Also, Bryan did do some damage to SI management's credibility by committing to changes being implemented in Q1 2000 and then when that deadline was not met, Q2 2000. Your original message commits to Q1 2001 and it really would be a slap in our faces if you guys missed again. I hope those are conservative, attainable objectives and not just more fantasy. I also hope that if it appears SI will miss the deadline there will be some proactive response from SI rather than the void Bryan chose to create by not notifying us that the commitments he made wouldn't be met.

"Stage 3 will be a pop-up window that specifically allows you to get all of your SubjectMarks (bookmarked subjects) and PeopleMarks (bookmarked people) with one click."

One point I should mention is that I can't imagine ever wanting all posts from all bookmarked peple, but I might easily want all posts from SI Bob ( just picking on Bob as an example ).

I can't tell from your description if that's what you intend or not.
