BulbaMan,

You really think BMY would parcel the whole thing out in a chunk at the bottom? Stranger things have happened. I don't know BMY's corporate culture, but I imagine this is a mindless policy move: we are no longer partners with Cadus, therefore we must sell its stock. So the order goes down the chain of command to get it done by x time. It gets shopped as a bundle, but no one's buying because of market conditions and lingering uncertainty about the patent situation. Meanwhile, to make some headway towards the deadline, they start liquidating the position; ever so slowly, because the stock is so thinly traded. And all that paper work means some drone gets to keep that job for a while.

Another idea is that BMY has some gains to offset, and this is a way of fine-tuning. Basic tax-loss selling.

Just my imagination at work with the information at hand.

Cheers, Tuck

I agree that it makes a lot of sense for Mr. Glass to take some of the $20 million plus in the KDUS treasury and buy back the BMY shares. Doesn't make much sense for him NOT to do that. And while he's at it, he could buy some non-BMY held shares in the open market. If we're right and KDUS is a steal where it's trading now, then shouldn't the CEO be acting accordingly?

Does anyone have an estimate on how much cash KDUS will burn this year? Guess you have to add in Glass's and B.O.D.'s salaries and on things like accountants' and lawyers' fees. Rent for Glass's office. Wonder if the expenses add up to more than the interest on the cash?
