Re: Excuse me... Are you saying that Belgium, France, Netherlands, Poland, and European nations OTHER than Nazi Germany, had their own versions of concentration camps and Zyklon-B? Or did they merely facilitate the Nazis in their genocide of the Jews?

EXACTLY! And, btw, not only the Jews (yellow star) but also anarchists (black disc), homosexuals (pink triangle), common law criminals (green disc), and Gypsies (?).

See... Hitler was not an idiot, he perfectly knew that a LOT of people in neighboring countries shared his vision --his Weltanschauung. In France, Catholic conservatives were eager to join Germany in building a New European Order, not to mention Fascistic Spain (Franco), Italy (Mussolini), Hungary, etc. European monarchies were elated as well since Nazism didn't threaten their legitimacy --hence the Question Royale in post-WWII Belgium, and the Duke of Windsor's pro-Nazi empathy....

Hidden Agenda - How the Duke of Windsor Betrayed the Allies
by Martin ALLEN (McMillan)

Another good read is The Hitler-Chamberlain Collusion which I referred on the Kosovo thread several months ago.
Indeed, as you put it, the whole of Europe facilitated the discarding of millions of undesirables. For that matter, we should bear in mind that most of the WWII archives are still classified since too many European bigwigs don't want the truth to be exposed in the media --as regards economic cooperation with Nazi Germany, or some famous alleged résistant (tip: French Jean Moulin), or... you name it.

Obviously, once the war against the Nazi villains was over, the US bourgeoisie had to come up with a practical post-war scenario and, accordingly, set Germany and Italy apart from "victimized" countries (Austria, France, Belgium, etc). From 1945 onwards, the big game was to contain Communism... So the CIA was founded and its first job consisted in recruiting.... former Nazis and Fascists (P2 boss Licio Gelli and his likes).

Gus.
