My hunch is that the market downturn over the past couple of days has a lot more to do with the Fed's reversal in policy rather than anything Bush is thinking about doing. You haven't made a credible case.

You could only believe that if you didn't understand economics or economic indicators. Smart people saw a market downturn coming months ago regardless of who got elected, and took money off the table. The fact is that this is Clinton's recession and I see absolutely no leadership from him to help stabilize the markets.

Sorry, the stock market move has nothing to do with the election. This move down was predicted before the election took place.

How can you blame a person who has only had lunch in the White House for this problem? Do you Democrats stoop so low? The guy is not even President yet, and you are blaming him for everything. In my opinion George is a great leader and he has made all the right moves(Cheney as VP was a masterful stroke, at the time, even I thought it was a mistake. Give the Guy a break!!

Yes, the Gore Bear Market continues as the threat of the Clinton/Gore recession looms ever more real.

The remedy is George Bush and his prescient program of tax cuts. Only now they should be made larger than originally planned.
