The online versions of the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, MSNBC, CNN, and Associated Press have no stories on this. I'm watching the 10 o'clock news and it has no story on it. So the way to bet it is that it is just a rumor with no foundation.

GORE WON! I know the votes are being counted, but I don't think they have finished statewide. Perhaps they finished Miami Dade. It cost $1400/hour to have the county workers show to the ballots, so there is a group of newspapers splitting the bill. I'm not sure what impeachment would do to the last threads of credibility on the Supreme Court, but I do think there should be a mechanism where Scalia and Thomas and the others have to explain themselves under oath.
