Gore lost. Even Gore and Bubba acknoweldge that FACT. Bush is President-elect. He will shortly take office.

Read the Court's opinion. They explained themselves quite well I believe. You sore losers are really detrimental to the national interest. You ought to pull a Baldwin and leave the country if you can't abide by the rule of law.

I went swimming last night and missed the news. My husband said that NOTHING was mentioned about the count!

Yesterday, he listened to live PBS radio show about election and the two anchors said that at that time, with the number of votes counted Gore would win or had won. And all the people who phoned in to make comments were extremely angry with the Supreme Court and thought that they should be impeached.

I don't know how those anchors got news on that florida count. My husband was unsure which newspaper was doing the count. He thought it was either WSJ or Washington Post, according to news anchors.

Frankly, I don't know what we are going to do. Bush is so stupid. I saw him with Clinton on tv the other night. The Press asked Bush about the economy. His eyes went blank, and he referred the question to Mr. Clinton who laughed and answered that he expected the economy to grow a few percentage points. And Bush had just met with Greenspan the day b4 or that same day. Yet, he couldn't answer a simple zinga question about the economy! AHHHHHH!!!! What are we going to do?

And, as far as the stock market goes, it doesn't look like Mr. Clinton or Mr. Greenspan are going to step in and prop up Bush as a leader.

Peope here are very upset about what The Supreme Court did. I don't care what the pundits say. The average folks are upset. Usually, when I go to the pool, they talk about the new baby elephant at the zoo or the latest cookie recipe. This election has created so much friction between people that they won't even talk about it.

GORE WON!
And what do you base that on? I mean factually, not your fervent wishes dragging your fevered imaginings kicking and screaming to what it wants.

You must have missed this:

Now it's the next day and STILL they haven't gotten the word. Obviously there is a Republican plot to keep the media from learning of Gore's victory.
