John,

When that happened, for all practical purposes MTSN had one product only - Strip. ... and its survival as a standalone company was at risk.

With the seeding done during the last downturn, and with the achievements in the early 300mm pilots, MTSN's prospects as a going concern are brighter than they've ever been.

If, in fact, Greenspan gives the world a recession, then MTSN's 300mm sales to companies doing technology buys should stand it in good stead. And if the grinch decides he doesn't have to create a worldwide recession to stop some imaginary inflation threat, then we could see a major resumption in this upcycle.

Somehow I think Greenspan intends to have all stocks trading near zero as he resigns from the fed, then takes his money out of the money market and buys some equities real cheap.

He should be required to have at least 1/3 of his money in equities. He might be a little less cavalier.

What effect will the imminent closing of the merger have on MTSN cash levels?

Thx.
