One of the reasons I want to move back to Washington is that it is too hard to get to concerts and shows that are not scheduled for Friday or Saturday night, when I have to drive a half hour to reach the District line first. I have gone to some concerts of the Annapolis Symphony, but it is an inferior orchestra, so I mostly listen to recordings. One of the nice things about museums is they are just there for when you can make it, within reason. So, live performances are sporadic, museums, I am usually thorough. I almost always hit three art museums when in New York, although they sometimes vary. And, of course, I have the National Gallery, the Phillips Collection, the Hirschorn, and assorted other museums around. Go, there is supposed to be a small Byzantine exhibit at the Met, for example. I love icons.....
