Need something to cheer about?

cpc.ncep.noaa.gov

For what is worth the EIA indicates the most NG drawn from storage in any four week period in the last 5 years is 575. We are well on to exceed that by at least 130.

JQP You commented about NYC and Chicago gate prices. My explanation would be that at these ambient temperatures flow from Henry hub is maxed, plus regional distribution maybe limited. So at these major points there is only so much. So if you have storage and capability to flow these are the prices.

I imagine power plants in the NE are on # oil going forward as temperatures are expected to be quite low.

Hoping to see a nice drop in distillates soon.

re: home values coming down in cal.

does that mean that folks won't still be able to make their mortgage payments?

and does wfc still own the mortgages, or have the gse's bought them all up? seems like the gse's are the pig in the poke if there turns out to be a real estate bubble. talk about shorting at 52 wk highs - ball of brass on this one. don
