Have no comment about SEBL vs. ORCL. My wife has not dealt with CRM yet. You are most likely correct.

Again though, MSFT office did not necessarily run better than their competitors individual products, however it ran well enough that the value of bundling overcame any deficiencies.

Oracle is, IMHO, attempting this same strategy to overcome any advanatages that SEBL or ITWO may have in their specific product offerings and sell the whole thing as a package.

There is no way it will be as dominant as MSFT was on the desktop. But it does seem a viable competitive solution that probably won't hurt a SEBL or ITWO much but may cripple the rest of the field. Shall have to watch it develop.

But I think the important point is, is that ORCL of all the companies, looks best positioned to take over the crown as King of the Software Jungle from MSFT.
