your message was addressed to the person who got fired for telling everybody to stop buying AMD and to "avoid" INTC when both were at their yearly highs.

I don't think Tad got fired. In fact, I think he was promoted.

Sounds about right. It happened to me during the early eighties when I called the top on Cray Research a trifle too early and the next seventeen years of the evolution of what was to become of that industry much too soon. My " SIN" was never to be forgiven.
