<Bush is just making SURE people realize it was the FAILED ECONOMICS of the Previous administration <

Well, that's certainly an interesting strategy! Convince the people that there's a recession happening so that they pull back dramatically and it actually comes true. Brilliant plan to say the least!

Face it, "dubbya" doesn't have the market's confidence in the least. His stream of appointments of mummified relics from the 80's hasn't lit anyone's fire. His treasury secretary is a total joke, could he have found anyone less in tune with the markets of teh 21st century? How about that hack he brought in for Commerce?

What you're looking at is a group of people, starting with Bush, that don't understand anything about the current U.S. economy. Oil, mining and smelting are not what jobs or prosperity is about today. But, that's what Cheney and Bush understand.

The market has realized that the Shrub is over his head, Cheney is running things and he's stuck in the 80's.

The massive liberal media bias that exists is proved by these two cases:

1) In the 1992 campaign Clinton and AlGore, liars both, ran on the theme that we were in "the worst economy in 50 years", which the media parroted, rather than refuted, despite it being plainly evident then that the Clinton/AlGore campaign was a Big Lie. (And forget about their "Middle Class Tax Cut" - Moynihan said that was always "boob bait for the bubbas" and Stephanopulos later said that "they kept all the promises they meant to keep").

IN fact, the mild 8 month respite from the Reagan Boom started in July 1990 and ended in March 1991. The economy was expanding smartly for over a year before Clinton/AlGore ran on the Big Lie. They later went through contortions to take credit for an economic expansion that happened despite their efforts. Still, AlGore continued the Big Lie in the 2000 campaign, saying he and the other liar saved US from "the worst economy in 50 years".

2) Now, when the economy is clearly slowing and Bush and Cheney state what is apparent and true, the Dems and their allies in the media howl that how dare the GOP tell the truth!

Orwell couldn't have come up with anything better to portray the corruption that liberalism/socialism brings to society and to the truth.
